Comprender esta conexi\u00f3n es fundamental para la prevenci\u00f3n y el manejo efectivo de ambas condiciones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\u00bfQu\u00e9 es el S\u00edndrome del Ovario Poliqu\u00edstico?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>El SOP es un trastorno hormonal que se caracteriza por:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Per\u00edodos menstruales irregulares<\/strong> o ausentes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Niveles elevados de hormonas masculinas (andr\u00f3genos)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Quistes en los ovarios<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dificultad para quedar embarazada<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Aumento de peso, especialmente en el abdomen<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Acn\u00e9 y crecimiento excesivo de vello<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>La Conexi\u00f3n SOP-Diabetes: Resistencia a la Insulina<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>El V\u00ednculo Metab\u00f3lico<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>La <strong>resistencia a la insulina<\/strong> es el denominador com\u00fan entre el SOP y la diabetes tipo 2. En el SOP, hasta el 80% de las mujeres presentan alg\u00fan grado de resistencia a la insulina, lo que significa que sus c\u00e9lulas no responden adecuadamente a esta hormona.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3
